When I think of my life I think of balance: physical, mental, nutritional, personal, and professional balance. When all of those elements are in line, I feel clarity and peace.


This didn’t happen overnight. There were many ups and downs, twists, and turns. This took trial and correction. I struggled with eating, confidence, and ongoing internal battles. For me, obtaining balance was not a straight line… it was more like a winding road.


Once I realized I didn’t have to take that straight line… a whole new world unraveled itself right in front of my eyes! I learned that “prescribed success” doesn’t always bring satisfaction, health, and happiness. Graduate high school, go to college, get a job, start a family may not be the answer for everyone’s happiness. I realized that once you get “the job” life does not have to stop there. You never have to stop growing; you never have to stop learning.


A few years back, I decided to begin a health and wellness journey and found myself adopting a new style of exercise. One that without me even realizing, impacted my confidence significantly, cleared my thoughts, and provided a real sense of clarity. CrossFit provides me with a place of release and community. In addition, I embraced a cleaner way of eating. I learned that eating less is not always the answer. I learned that I am not in an exclusive relationship with food and there is no such thing as “cheating”. Indulging every once in a while will not destroy you. It’s about picking up the next day and continuing on as you did before. I found that when we eat clean, balanced, real food it impacts every single aspect of our lives resulting in ‘Health and Happiness’. Combining those two lifestyle changes incredibly impacted my overall wellbeing.


Through this new exercise routine and real food lifestyle, I decided to take my own personal development to a new level. I pursued a Nutrition Counseling as well as a Wellcoach® certificate. I realized that I wanted to use my experience and knowledge to help others uncover the best version of themselves!
